December 13th Meeting

Our next meeting is , December 13 th , 9:30-11:30.    A handful reminders as we look forward to our meeting. Everyone is encouraged to come early. We know this is so often easier said than done, but the earlier you arrive the more time you will have to check in your kids. Make sure to ask the greeters to help direct you of where to check in. Christmas Dress Everyone is also encouraged to come dressed to celebrate Christmas! Come with your sweaters, wearing red and green, your fun leggings, and your crazy hats! Speaker We will be watching a short MOMCON video on Hope. We will also welcome Pastor Jon Platek to share the Christmas message with us! November 22 Meeting

There is so much to be thankful for, like MOPS two weeks in a row! Can’t wait to see everyone,   Tuesday, November 22nd, 9:30-11:30.    A handful reminders as we look forward to our meeting. Everyone is encouraged to come early. We know this is so often easier said than done, but the earlier you arrive the more time you will have to check in your kids. Make sure to ask the greeters to help direct you of where to check in. At our next MOPS meeting we will be making sandwiches for Minneapolis Recreation Development, Inc. , which is headed up by Allan Law.  In addition, we will be having a warm blanket and clothing drive for his organization.  They are in need of blankets and adult gloves, scarves, and hats.  All items can be used (as long as they are clean), or of course, they can be purchased new as well.  We’re very excited to tell you that Allan Law is planning on joining us for the last half hour of our meeting!  Below is a link to a video about Allan Law and how he car

We are switching our Tuesday, November 8th MOPS meeting to Tuesday, November 15th.  Tuesday, November 8th will be our November play date instead. Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church is a voting place on the 8th, and with the anticipated large number of voters this election year, we needed to move our MOPS November 8th meeting to Tuesday, November 15th. Thank you for your understanding, ladies.  We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes you.  We really hope you can make it on the 15th instead of the 8th.  We have a great meeting planned!  Our amazing MOPPETS workers have graciously made this change to their calendars, so they will be ready to love and care for your sweet children on the 15th. She relies on "me too" moments to get her through these years with young kids. She and her husband Dylan live in Maple Grove with their two children Hannah and Noah and their dog and cat.  Caytie loves to be in the kitchen baking and trying out new recipes that her picky eaters would prefer she leave on Pinterest. May 10th Meeting

Happy Mother’s Day to all! Our last meeting of the year We are planning to celebrate and look back at our year. We will have plenty of time to talk and enjoy each other’s company. Brunch A reminder that brunch will be provided this week. Mom’s Night Out For our last Mom’s Night Out, we will be playing Bunco. For those of you who have never played, it is a game played with dice that is really easy to learn! April 12th Meeting

Silent Action We welcome your participation in the Maple Grove MOPS Silent Action during our meeting this week. During the silent action, you will have an opportunity to place bids on items ranging from household goods, children’s toys, clothes and accessories! It’s a great way to get some of the things you have been needing/wanting for great prices and for a great cause. We will be viewing these items after the announcements on Tuesday morning. Bidding: Please bring cash or check to MOPS that morning. March 22nd Meeting

Speakers "Road To Joy Ministries" Cindy Cole Nelson and Kathe Matthews met in a singing group and soon realized it was no accident that they formed an immediate bond. They had quite a bit in common; both were mothers of teenagers, married over 20 years, worked as accountants and had passions for Bible study, speaking and creative writing. Cindy was at work on her first Christian music album and Kathe was compiling short stories and poetry for a book she would later publish. Unfortunately, they also discovered they shared a common struggle with worry and anxiety. Road to Joy Ministries was born when it became apparent that God brought them together, not only to support each other, but to send them out to help others. Today they speak at conferences, retreat programs, and other ministry events. With God leading the way,

March 8th Meeting

They have 5 children (one girl & four boys) from age 14-28. She and Mark have also been blessed with two granddaughters. Diana spends her time speaking to women's groups and working in the office of the family electrical business. She loves sharing her testimony and trials from life and how God has been there every step of the way in health, marriage, children and just plain life. February 9th Meeting

Next Tuesday is DAY OF PAMPERING!! A reminder that everyone is encourage to come early. Remember child care opens at 9:15 so if you check your kids in early you can get settled early too! Day of Pampering One of the best days of the year has come! Day of pampering allows us to do just that, be pampered! We will be welcoming massage therapists, eyebrow waxers, essential oil consultants and more. Please arrive early to get your kids in child care, get brunch and start using the services. Craft: Our craft this week will be gifted by the essential oils consultant. She will give each of us the chance to make one, room spray, rollerball blend, thieves cleaner, sugar scrub, or bath salts. Please bring cash with you if you would like to make second or third option. Raffle: There will be a raffle at Day of Pampering. Please note that you can enter the drawing to win each prize only once. You are welcome to enter all of the drawings if you wish to win all prizes. Brunch: A reminder th
