February 9th Meeting

Next Tuesday is DAY OF PAMPERING!!

A reminder that everyone is encourage to come early. Remember child care opens at 9:15 so if you check your kids in early you can get settled early too!

Day of Pampering
One of the best days of the year has come! Day of pampering allows us to do just that, be pampered! We will be welcoming massage therapists, eyebrow waxers, essential oil consultants and more. Please arrive early to get your kids in child care, get brunch and start using the services.
Craft: Our craft this week will be gifted by the essential oils consultant. She will give each of us the chance to make one, room spray, rollerball blend, thieves cleaner, sugar scrub, or bath salts. Please bring cash with you if you would like to make second or third option.
Raffle: There will be a raffle at Day of Pampering. Please note that you can enter the drawing to win each prize only once. You are welcome to enter all of the drawings if you wish to win all prizes.
Brunch: A reminder that brunch will be catered this week.

Playdate
Our next playdate will be February 16th. Please look for more information about this coming soon.

Babysitting Coop
Did you know that Maple Grove MOPS has a babysitting coop? We have all been in a pinch and have needed child care for appointments, meetings or so many other life events. Our babysitting coop allows moms to assist each other by exchanging babysitting services. Please contact Caytie Hall (caytie.hall@gmail.com) if you would like to be added to this group.

January 22 Meeting

Speaker Information

The speaker next week is Travis Rosinger. His topic is loving your spouse like Jesus loved us. Travis and Dawn Rosinger are from Minneapolis, MN and are high school sweethearts. They have been married for twenty three years and have two college age children. Travis has a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministry and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership. Along with being a full-time pastor for over twenty years, Travis has taught Human Relations and in the Business discipline at colleges in Minnesota and Iowa. He is currently Pastor of Adult Ministry at Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church in the Twin Cities and is a regular speaker at schools, colleges and marriage events both in the United States and internationally. Travis and Dawn are both very passionate about helping couples fight for their marriages and live a vibrant, full life!  Loving The Fight marriage seminars and marriage events are a key focus of their lives and ministry.

November 24th Meeting

Speaker Information

Stacia Christenson is a "work from home" senior sales director, celebrating 19 years in her business. 
She also serves as a Ministry Coach liaison for MOPS, Int'l.  As a complement to her daily work, she has discovered a new calling: presenting encouraging, faith-filled talks on image and modesty, prayer, the Five Love Languages, and this week’s topic:  Gratitude.
She is married to Kevin and lives in Minnetonka. Her greatest and most important title to date is in the role she plays as a mom to her sweet P's, Peyton and Paisley.

November 10th Meeting

Speaker Information
Kathy White has been involved with and spoken at MOPS groups for over 20 years. “I love young moms and the love and dedication you have for your preschoolers.”  Kathy and her husband have owned a Christian bookstore for many years. She served as Women’s Ministry Director at New Hope Church for 10 years. Currently she is the Vice President of Field Ministries for Stonecroft Ministries, a national women’s ministry. Kathy’s favorite activity is having coffee and conversation with women about life and faith, and she believes there is no more important (and challenging) issue than being a mom.

Upcoming Play Date
Our next play date is Tuesday, November 17 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. It will be at the church. Please RSVP via the Evite sent this week.

Fall Service Project
Our group will be Christmas caroling with sister tables and kids at Nursing/Senior homes.
If anyone has a personal connection to a nursing/senior home in the area we would love to use it as one of caroling visits. Please email daniellelwalter@gmail.com with info. Dates and times to be determined.

October 27th Meeting

Hard to believe we are three meetings into our year! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful fall we have been blessed with!

Speaker Information
Our speaker next week is Dr. David Sibley. His talk it titled, “Communication Style Differences between Men and Women.” Dr. Sibley has been married to Nancy for 38 years. They have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. He has teaching degrees in secondary and elementary education. He also has a Master’s degree in Family Education and a Doctorate in Education. He currently works at the University of Northwestern.

A reminder that the ORANGE TABLE has brunch for the 27th meeting.

A reminder that the BLUE TABLE is assigned to help with child care for the next steering team meeting on November 3rd.

We will have our first craft of the year at the October 27th meeting! It will be a beautiful leaf mason jar candle holder. Materials will be supplied, come with your creativity.

Tribe Sign Up
If you did not have time to fill out the tribe sign up last meeting, please fill it out and give it to your DGL last meeting, please hand it in this meeting so we can get Tribes up and running! If you lost your sheet you can find them click here to access it. You can them submit the form online. If you have any questions about the form and potential responsibilities just ask your DGL.

No Flu Shot Clinic
We will not be hosting a flu shot clinic this year. Thank you Caytie Hall for offering.

Mom’s in their first trimester
Robinsdale Women's Center is in need of women in their first trimester (7-15 weeks) to serve as ultra sound models for ultra sound techs learning how to use the equipment. The ultra sound is free for you, you just have to show up! Please call: (763) 531-9554 if interested.
