October 27th Meeting

Hard to believe we are three meetings into our year! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful fall we have been blessed with!

A reminder that everyone is encourage to come early. Remember child care opens at 9:15 so if you check your kids in early you can get settled early too!

Speaker Information

Our speaker next week is Dr. David Sibley. His talk it titled, “Communication Style Differences between Men and Women.” Dr. Sibley has been married to Nancy for 38 years. They have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. He has teaching degrees in secondary and elementary education. He also has a Master’s degree in Family Education and a Doctorate in Education. He currently works at the University of Northwestern.

Brunch

A reminder that the ORANGE TABLE has brunch for the 27th meeting.

Steering Team Child Care

A reminder that the BLUE TABLE is assigned to help with child care for the next steering team meeting on November 3^rd.

Name Tags

Don't forget to pick up your name tags at the welcome table upstairs when you walk into MOPS and leave them at your table when you go home.

Craft

We will have our first craft of the year at the October 27th meeting! It will be a beautiful leaf mason jar candle holder. Materials will be supplied, come with your creativity.

Tribe Sign Up

If you did not have time to fill out the tribe sign up last meeting, please fill it out and give it to your DGL last meeting, please hand it in this meeting so we can get Tribes up and running! If you lost your sheet you can find them click here to access it. You can them submit the form online. If you have any questions about the form and potential responsibilities just ask your DGL.

Pictures

A reminder to send your family pictures into your DGL.  Even one from an IPhone works! If you have any questions about how to do this please contact Heather (hhosfield@gmail.com). 

No Flu Shot Clinic

We will not be hosting a flu shot clinic this year. Thank you Caytie Hall for offering.

Mom’s in their first trimester

Robinsdale Women's Center is in need of women in their first trimester (7-15 weeks) to serve as ultra sound models for ultra sound techs learning how to use the equipment. The ultra sound is free for you, you just have to show up! Please call: (763) 531-9554 if interested.
