Jim married his High School sweetheart, Tammy, 24 years ago. They have three daughters; Allie (20), Amara (17), and Erin (12). Jim figures that having four close women in his life is God’s way of keeping him humble.
The Hobbs family enjoy taking vacations, National Parks, playing sports, and trash talking one another while playing sports.
Jim has a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

LeRoy Cluever: father of Caytie Hall.
I retired last spring after working for an electric distribution cooperative in Benson Minnesota. Since retirement it has been mainly loafing and taking care of maintenance around the home and yard..
Wife Heidi and I live in Benson, MN as we have for about 27 1/2 years.
Caytie is our oldest daughter. She has 4 older brothers, 2 younger sisters and a younger brother. All of the kids are employed and on their own. Five of the kids are married and 4 have children.
With that many children there has not been a lot of time for hobbies or other interests. I am enjoying retirement but the wife and family is still the main focus of interest. I get in some fishing, but the grandkids have priority on my time.

Rick Heupel: Rick grew up on a farm in the center of North Dakota, one of six children.  He completed college at NDSU with a degree in Electrical Engineering and moved to Minneapolis for work.  It was in Minneapolis as part of crazy bunch of young people trying to figure out how to live life and do ministry that he met and married his wife Mavis.  They were married in 1978 and have 4 children and currently 6 grand children.
Rick's work experience includes being part of the team that brought the first commercial microwave ovens to market, development of the Zinc-air battery technology that currently powers over 90% of all hearing aids (also developed a battery pack that flew on many space shuttle missions).  In 1989 they moved to SIngapore and spent 11 years in different functional areas.  They moved back to the US in 2000 to ensure that their oldest daughter would be supported as she started college in a 'foreign' land.  Rick current is the President of Common Ground Consultants that is involved in 'Helping Christians understand Muslims and Helping Muslims understand Jesus'.  He also serves on Boards of several other non-profit organizations.   Rick and Mavis attend Ridgewood Church in Minnetonka.

This Week's Reminders:

This Week's MOPPETS:

MOPPETS for January 2015 Theme: O Say Can U C?

Welcome to MOPPETS for 2015! We are looking forward to spending time with each of your children and teaching them how very much God loves them. Thank you for sharing them with us!

BOZ Buzz!
Letters of the alphabet is the next theme for BOZ Treehouse Time! at MOPPETS. To introduce this topic, please talk with your child about the letters that make up his or her name. When you read a nighttime story, point out how individual letters make words. With your help, even young children can recognize sight words they see regularly like “stop” and “exit”. Identifying visual clues, including common words, helps a young child understand the world. Thank you for the bubble wrap last meeting.  The kids are having so much fun popping them!

  • Memory Verse: I can learn about God
(Psalm 25:4 - Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.)
  • Biblical Concept: We should follow God’s teaching
  • Snack:
    • January 27th: Pretzels, cheese squares, and blueberries.
