Paula Gilbert serves as the backbone to our MOPS Ministry.  She directs and coordinates all the big stuff.  She also has a deep passion to connect with young moms and to minister to them on a personal level.

This Week's Reminders

• This week is our Spring Tea!  Please remember to bring your favorite tea cup with you.
• Brunch is provided by S.S. Mommies.
• This week is our Secret Sister Reveal...don't forget to bring a special surprise for your sister!
• When you arrive at our meeting, we will have tables set up with Thank You cards for our Moppets (childcare) workers.  Please take a moment to sign the cards for any workers that have been involved with your child this year! 
• If you are interested in contributing to the RWC Walk for Life (information below), donation baskets will be available at our meeting on Tuesday.  Checks can be made out to "RWC".

MOPS Couples' Bowling Night
We look forward to seeing you all and meeting your husbands for Couples' Bowling!  We'll be meeting at Sundance bowling center in Dayton, MN on May 19th at 6:00p.m.  The cost is $14.50/person, which includes 2 games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza, and pop.

Walk for Life (Robbinsdale Women's Center)
The Walk for Life will take place on May 18th, beginning at 9:00a.m. at French Park in Plymouth, MN.  There are many ways you can participate in this event:

• Bring a donation to our meeting on Tuesday (or give online)
• Sign up online OR talk to Lori Andreen if you'd like to walk and raise donations
• Bring your kids for face painting, balloons, and to walk and show your support even if you're not registered

"Great Date Night"!

Put the spark back into date nights with your husband!  On May 31st (6-10p.m.), young couples have the unique opportunity to learn how to develop a meaningful dating relationship with their spouses.  The evening will consist of a message from Pastor Russ Berg (of MGEFC) about dating your spouse, time for you and your hubby to enjoy a nice dinner together on your own, and finally a dessert back at church along with a Q&A time with Pastor Russ.  So book your favorite babysitter, pass the word to your married friends (neighbors, co-workers, etc.) and get ready for a great night with your husband!  Click here for more information and to register for this unique event.

Registration for 2013/2014 MOPS
Plans are already underway for our 2013-2014 MOPS program!  Please register early to ensure a spot for you and your children next year!  Register before May 31st to receive a $2 discount on your fee.  Please contact Meg Vomhof with any questions.

Steering Team

Our steering team has done a great job of planning our year together.  Thanks to everyone who has been involved!

Did you know that there are many different ways to serve on our MOPS Steering Team?  Do you love to lead discussions?  Are you creative and crafty?  Do you love Facebook and blogging?  If you'd like to use your talents and interests to bless other mommies, send us an email!  We'd love to give you more information or answer questions you might have about the following open positions:
