This Week's Guest Speaker
Samantha Sawyer
"Ugh...I Hate Playing.  Ways To Share The Fun."

Samantha is a Nationally Certified and Licensed Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Parent Coach.  She has worked as a language pathologist in home, school, and hospital settings, and currently owns her own business called Brightening Connections.  She loves teaching caregivers and parents fun and easy ways to advance their child's development through play in the home environment.  She seeks to give parents strategies that will empower them to be the expert and reveal their child's natural skills.  She says, "Setting a child and family up for success brings out everyone's best potential and allows for a greater experience of joy."

This Week's Reminders

Congratulations to Rachel S. on the birth of baby Hayden, and to Laura G. on the birth of baby Cooper! We are excited to welcome these new little boys to the MOPS family!

Request for Prayer
Please remember to pray for the gals in our group who are battling illnesses (either themselves or in their families), tough pregnancies, and many other difficult situations.
"The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."  James 5:16 (NLT)

Handy Tips
  • Looking for a creative way to share the Gospel with your kids this Easter?  Check out this fun poem that uses M&M's to teach your child about what Jesus did for them on the cross!
  • Kids love splashing and stomping in puddles and melting snow almost as much as moms despise the soaking, sopping mess that results.  Alternative?  Try making Rainbow Puddles!
