We hope
everyone had a wonderful first meeting and that you are looking forward to our
meeting next week, Tuesday,
October 25th, 9:30-11:30. A
handful reminders as we look forward to our meeting.
Everyone
is encouraged to come early. We know this is so often easier said than done,
but the earlier you arrive the more time you will have to check in your kids.
Make sure to ask the greeters to help direct you of where to check in.
Speaker
Information
Our speaker will be Mary Dieter!
Mary Dieter is the 3rd of 7 children
raised in an Irish Catholic family on the Iron Range in the mining town of
Chisholm, MN.
What started out as a personal study for her and her
5 children expanded into public speaking engagements throughout the state of
Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. She has been a
frequent lecturer at school (ECFC), educational seminars (Gifting), workshops,
women’s retreats, youth conferences, and numerous civic gatherings.
As a graduate of Minnesota School of Women’s Ministries
she served on the State Leadership Team representing the Red River Valley. She
has come alongside women for over 30 years through Bible Studies, Prayer
Retreats, Mentoring, along with starting and sustaining women’s ministries in
various churches.
Mary has ministered in Guatemala with her husband in
vision care and with her sister churches in Ukraine. She served with Emergency
Medical Services for 16 years… with she feels was a ‘”call within the CALL.”
When asked to do or serve she filters through her
mission statement for life and for work, “I desire to educate, encourage and excite
others to become whole and holy.
She is married to Dr. Michael Dieter, an
optometrist, and together raised 5 children. Like all married couples at times
they have come “toe to toe” but by God’s grace they have for 43 years been able
to see “eye to eye” They pray TOGETHER…OUT LOUD…EVERYDAY… for their personal
lives, the lives of those in the family of God, their children and their 13
grandchildren.
