This Week's Reminders:
- We are collecting diapers (size 1 and newborn) to donate to Robbinsdale Women's Center. Thank you to all who remembered at our last meeting. We will be delivering them after this week's meeting.
- Don't forget to appreciate your MOPPET workers. We want to let them know how grateful we are for their service to us!

active jumping to music and playing with flashlights.
- Memory Verse: God created everything. (1 Corinthians 8:6)
- Biblical Concept: We are made in the image and likeness of God, the Creator.
- Concept in Action: I can be creative
- Snack: (October 22nd) Homemade Cinnamon Chex mix with candy corn (see poem below). (Chex Cereal for Cruisers)

this poem with your child in honor of the season
Candy
Corn!
White
is for the sins that Jesus washed away,
Orange
is for the new hope the Lord gives each day.
Yellow
is for His wisdom and words so sweet,
All
wrapped up in this candy corn treat!
And here
is another one …
Glowing with God’s Love (Poem)
Some
people take a pumpkin (arms circled in front)
Carve
mouth and eyes and nose
And
put inside a flashlight (hands together, moving back and forth in
front)
So
that their pumpkin glows
I
do not need a flashlight (shake head “no”)
Like
pumpkin faces do
My
glow starts deep inside me (fist on chest)
God’s
love comes straight to you! (point to the other person)

Craft Night: October 25th at 7:00. Join us for a crafty night of fun and fellowship. We will be making soap pumps to sell at the bake sale. Feel free to bring your own project and come ready to chat! Also, bring a treat to share.
Bake Sale: November 22nd and 23rd. It's not too late to join our Bake Sale committee. Come serve together to organize our biggest (and hopefully ONLY) fundraiser for MOPS. Also keep in mind how you would like to contribute otherwise (baked goods, crafts to sell, etc.)
